Our Design Process
Step 1
Consultation
Every project begins with a conversation — understanding needs, aspirations, and the essence of the space. One site visit will be provided (included of site measurement) & provided a set of Basic Furniture layout plan.
Step 2
Proposal
By turning your ideas into a structured design concept , combining spatial planning, mood exploration, and preliminary layouts — we help you fully appreciate the potential of your space through design statements and 3D visualisation. Based on the approved sketch plans, AEI shall submit complete color scheme and specifications board indicating both local and foreign purchases by Client for approval. The scheme shall clearly assist and form part of a tender document and at the same time referred to for better design control. Direct line purchases and future maintenance will be carried out by Client. Design Development is deemed to be complete after Client’s written approval is obtained or by Designer’s notification of completion through a registered letter addressed to Client.
Step 3
Design Finalisation
Concepts are developed into detailed, precise designs ready for implementation. We will further refine the drawings and documents to ensure every element is clear, feasible, and ready for construction. Working Drawings and Specifications is deemed to be complete when Client signs on all copies of drawings submitted. These drawings will incorporate all locations and electrical facilities such as air-conditioning supply and return grilles, power outlets and telephone outlets.
Step 4
Pre-Construction
Through detailed planning, scheduling, and coordination, every element is carefully prepared prior to construction.
Step 5
Construction
With careful supervision, we execute the design with attention to quality, detail, and craftsmanship. Designer shall assist the interior contractor in taking over of the site and to ensure that initial preparatory work is started with the least problems. Designer shall request progress charts from interior contractor to inspect periodic site-works, factory works and attend the necessary site meetings. This is ensuring that the interior contractor is keeping with the necessary progress. Designer shall assist Client in ensuring that all rectification works are properly executed.
Step 6
Handover
The completed space is delivered with a final inspection, ensuring it meets the intended vision and standards.
